Ethiopia ranks one hundred seventy three out of one hundred eighty-seven countries in Human Development and is one of the poorest countries in the world.  HOPe has funded several projects through the years with different Partners. 

• 2022- HOPe partnered with Fr. Michael O'Shea on the Ethiopia Health Project for The Antonio Rosmini Institute for a water project funding a well and later a generator to bring electricity into the area.

• In 2011, several board members went to Ethiopia to meet with HOPe's partners, CVM & APA to assess the projects that HOPe funds.

   Our work with CVM and APA has focused mainly on water and sanitation as well as the following:

• medical supplies

• educational supplies

• construction of a water well/water project in 2018
